Where is your family from in Morocco? Do you speak the dialect? Do you go there on a yearly basis? What do you like the most about Morocco? Do your Mom cook Moroccan food? sorry

My family is originally from near Fes - the town where the shrine of Moulay Idris I lies. Though some is also from somewhere in the Rif, and then they now all live in Sale, Rabat and France. I understand a lot of the dialect, but I know a bit more fus7a because I never really got into Arabic until university. Before then I just stuck to French. I used to go there yearly until issues arose with immediate family…so now its been two or three years. I can’t begin with where I love Morocco, but I have many reasons. I am Moroccan, the people I love most are Moroccan, the rusty color of the soil, the climate, the food, the burned-out curly fly aways that Moroccan girls have, djellabas, weddings, our culture, the accent used in Moroccan Arabic…everything. There is the corruption and shortfalls of its government, but goodness I love the country so dearly. My mother does cook Moroccan food as well as French. I am better at making Moroccan food than any other cuisine as a result. :)
