Greeks urged not to buy German goods

Greeks are being urged to boycott German and Dutch products to protest against harsh economic austerity demands from their country’s European partners.

The move comes as extra constraints have been put on Athens in return for its second bailout.

Items in the firing line range from electronics to dairy products.

The thing that kills me about this reaction is that it completely ignores the fact that there are massive implications already to the rest of the EU. How can repeated bailouts be taken without the expectation of austerity measures?

Developing countries fall prey to IMF loans and experience similar issues and have done so for decades and now there is somehow shock as they hear this news after the…what bailout are we on?

Successive Greek governments with their lack of financial planning and over-spending have done a greater injustice to the Greek people than Germany has.

Just my take though.
