For some reason, you have seemed a little down of late, so I wanted to tell you something that might make the world seem less like crap and people seem less like fakes. A long time ago, I was struggling to determine what I wanted. What I wanted to do. I had knowledge, I had the ability, but I had zero willpower. I spent a lot of time on Tumblr. Too much. But it had its benefits, first and foremost being that I found you and your awesomeness.
I almost turned white with shock as I read this, because I couldn’t and almost still cannot believe that someone would send me such a kind message, let alone take notice of my mood.
I really appreciate this message (I don’t throw out formalities for kicks, I mean it) and it was really a pick-me-up that came to my inbox at the perfect time. Thank you so much for thinking to do that.
Also, I’m really glad that things have changed on your end, and I hope to emulate your current outlook in the near future. I’m sure that things will get better and as with everything in life, there are ups, downs, and in my current case flat-line periods where you just wonder about where you’ll land next. Hopefully motivation and positive reflections come to me through the course of this month.
I hope that things continue to look up for you and I’m glad that my idiosyncrasies have not rubbed at least one person the wrong way. I’m really glad that you decided to spend too much Tumblr as well, haha.
Once again, thank you so much. :)
