You know on second thought, as much as I complain, I’m still grateful to be part of my family. The diversity within it has taught me how to deal with many types of people. Also, they are honest and hardworking people.
I would be a total mess if my parents hadn’t raised me the way they did.
I keep contradicting myself, but its because I love them. If I didn’t love them I wouldn’t care about their expectations. Yet if I really love them, I’ll establish my own footing and take the burden of projection away from them.
Its normal. It can be bizarre, but its nothing uncommon.
